2. Purposes

We collect your personal data to: (a) handle the contact or water-study request you send through the form, the phone, WhatsApp or email, the processing being essential for that; (b) if you send your CV, fill vacant posts; (c) if you have given us express consent, send you commercial and promotional communications about the company’s products or services and the Aguas SB digital newsletter; and (d) log the queries you make to the assistant and the configurator on the site (question, answer shown, rating and the navigation steps of that visit), without identifying data, to improve the service; that log is sent by internal email to the company. We do not use your data for automated decisions or to build profiles.

Header image by area: when a page loads, our server uses the IP address only to pick a water photograph of a broad area (Atlantic coast, Mediterranean or inland). The IP address is not stored, not linked to any person, not shared with third parties and not used for analytics or profiling. Local DB-IP database (CC BY 4.0 licence).

3. Legal basis

We process your data on the basis of your consent, given by ticking the acceptance box of this policy, and, in the case of a contact or quotation request, of pre-contractual measures at your request (art. 6.1.a and 6.1.b GDPR).

4. Retention

We will keep your data for as long as needed to handle your contact request or your application and, in any event, for a maximum of 5 years from collection, although you may withdraw your consent at any time. If you have consented to commercial communications or the newsletter, we will keep your contact data until you withdraw consent.

5. Recipients

The company’s team will take part in processing your data and, where applicable, professionals contracted by Aguas SB, S.L. for selection processes or for sending communications, who will process your data solely for the purposes set by the company and under the conditions imposed. We do not transfer your data to third parties except where legally required. Analytics and advertising services (Google) and the cookie-consent manager (Cookiebot) are activated only if you accept the corresponding cookies, and may involve international transfers under the safeguards provided by the GDPR.

Artificial intelligence, automated assistants and session recording

Artemisia, artificial-intelligence assistant. La web incorpora «Artemisia», un asistente conversacional basado en inteligencia artificial que orienta sobre tratamiento de agua a partir de la información publicada por Aguas SB. Para generar sus respuestas, el texto que usted escribe en el asistente se envía a Anthropic, PBC (proveedor del modelo de lenguaje Claude), que actúa como encargado del tratamiento conforme a su acuerdo de tratamiento de datos y no utiliza esas conversaciones para entrenar sus modelos. El asistente y su registro se alojan en la infraestructura de Cloudflare, Inc. (Workers y base de datos D1), que actúa igualmente como encargado del tratamiento conforme a su acuerdo de tratamiento de datos; antes del envío, un filtro automático retira direcciones de correo, teléfonos y números de documento o de cuenta que pudieran aparecer en el texto. Le pedimos que no incluya datos personales en el asistente: para hacernos llegar sus datos de contacto está el formulario de solicitud de estudio, que solo se envía cuando usted lo decide. El asistente no utiliza cookies ni identificadores; la conversación se conserva únicamente en su navegador mientras la pestaña está abierta. Para revisar la calidad de las respuestas y para poder acreditar, si surgiera una reclamación, qué se preguntó y qué respondió exactamente el asistente, conservamos durante 12 meses las preguntas y las respuestas (sin dirección IP ni identificadores personales y después del filtro descrito), con su fecha, el canal (web o conector) y la versión del asistente. Cada registro lleva una huella digital que permite comprobar que no se ha modificado; pasados los 12 meses se borra automáticamente. Estos registros no permiten identificarle y no se cruzan con los datos del formulario. Base jurídica: su solicitud voluntaria de orientación al usar el asistente (art. 6.1.b RGPD) y el interés legítimo de Aguas SB en mantener la calidad del servicio y en poder formular, ejercer o defender reclamaciones (art. 6.1.f). Artemisia también puede consultarse desde asistentes de inteligencia artificial de terceros mediante un conector; en ese caso, lo que usted escriba en ese asistente de terceros se rige por la política de privacidad de dicho proveedor, y Aguas SB solo recibe la consulta, responde con información publicada y conserva la consulta y la respuesta en el registro descrito. El configurador de la web sigue funcionando con reglas y textos preparados por Aguas SB, sin enviar nada a servicios externos.

Internal use of artificial-intelligence tools. Aguas SB uses artificial-intelligence tools for internal tasks (drafting, analysis of anonymous queries, preparation of technical studies). Personal data you provide through the form or by e-mail is handled by our staff; it is not used to train third-party models and is not passed to AI providers without a legal basis and the safeguards of the GDPR.

Session recording and heat maps. We use Hotjar (Hotjar Ltd., Malta) to record anonymously how the pages are used (movements, clicks and scrolling) and to build heat maps, in order to improve the website. It is only activated with your express consent through the cookie banner (statistics category); Hotjar masks the text fields you type in and does not collect form data. Microsoft Clarity is disconnected.

Consent. Measurement and advertising tools (Google Analytics, Google Ads) start in a “denied” state until you accept in the banner; without your acceptance their cookies are not set.

6. Rights

You may exercise the rights of access, rectification, erasure, objection, restriction of processing y portability, and to withdraw your consent, by emailing aguas.sb@aguassb.com or by post to Rúa Oliveira 96B, Pol. Ind. Novo Milladoiro, 15895 Ames (A Coruña), enclosing a copy of your national ID or equivalent. We will reply as soon as possible and, in any event, within one month. If you consider that your rights have not been met, you may lodge a complaint with the Spanish Data Protection Agency (aepd.es).

El derecho de supresión alcanza también al registro de preguntas y respuestas del asistente Artemisia. Como ese registro no guarda identificadores personales, para localizar una consulta necesitamos la fecha aproximada y el texto, o parte del texto, de lo que se preguntó; con eso la buscamos por su contenido y la eliminamos.

7. Security

We collect, process and store your data applying information-security policies and rules, in electronic form and on paper, that guarantee confidentiality, integrity and availability. If a personal-data security breach occurred, we would notify the Spanish Data Protection Agency without undue delay and, where possible, within a maximum of 72 hours from becoming aware of it (art. 33 GDPR). Where the breach entailed a high risk to your rights and freedoms, we would also notify you without undue delay (art. 34 GDPR).

8. Cookies

The use of cookies is regulated in the Cookie policy, where you can set or withdraw your consent at any time.

9. Updates
