2. Purposes

We collect your personal data to: (a) handle the contact or water-study request you send through the form, the phone, WhatsApp or email, the processing being essential for that; (b) if you send your CV, fill vacant posts; (c) if you have given us express consent, send you commercial and promotional communications about the company’s products or services and the Aguas SB digital newsletter; and (d) log the queries you make to the assistant and the configurator on the site (question, answer shown, rating and the navigation steps of that visit), without identifying data, to improve the service; that log is sent by internal email to the company. We do not use your data for automated decisions or to build profiles.

3. Legal basis

We process your data on the basis of your consent, given by ticking the acceptance box of this policy, and, in the case of a contact or quotation request, of pre-contractual measures at your request (art. 6.1.a and 6.1.b GDPR).

4. Retention

We will keep your data for as long as needed to handle your contact request or your application and, in any event, for a maximum of 5 years from collection, although you may withdraw your consent at any time. If you have consented to commercial communications or the newsletter, we will keep your contact data until you withdraw consent.

5. Recipients

The company’s team will take part in processing your data and, where applicable, professionals contracted by Aguas SB, S.L. for selection processes or for sending communications, who will process your data solely for the purposes set by the company and under the conditions imposed. We do not transfer your data to third parties except where legally required. Analytics and advertising services (Google) and the cookie-consent manager (Cookiebot) are activated only if you accept the corresponding cookies, and may involve international transfers under the safeguards provided by the GDPR.

Artificial intelligence, automated assistants and session recording

Assistant and configurator. The question assistant and the configurator on this website run on rules and texts prepared by Aguas SB; they do not send what you type to external artificial-intelligence services. What is recorded is the question or case, the answer given and whether it helped, with no name, e-mail or any data that identifies you, and it is forwarded by internal e-mail to improve the answer library.

Internal use of artificial-intelligence tools. Aguas SB uses artificial-intelligence tools for internal tasks (drafting, analysis of anonymous queries, preparation of technical studies). Personal data you provide through the form or by e-mail is handled by our staff; it is not used to train third-party models and is not passed to AI providers without a legal basis and the safeguards of the GDPR.

Session recording and heat maps. At the time of this update no session-recording or heat-map tool is active on the website (Hotjar and Microsoft Clarity are disconnected). Should any be activated in future, it would only run with your express consent through the cookie banner (statistics category) and would be reflected in the cookie policy.

Consent. Measurement and advertising tools (Google Analytics, Google Ads) start in a “denied” state until you accept in the banner; without your acceptance their cookies are not set.

6. Rights

You may exercise the rights of access, rectification, erasure, objection, restriction of processing y portability, and to withdraw your consent, by emailing aguas.sb@aguassb.com or by post to Rúa Oliveira 96B, Pol. Ind. Novo Milladoiro, 15895 Ames (A Coruña), enclosing a copy of your national ID or equivalent. We will reply as soon as possible and, in any event, within one month. If you consider that your rights have not been met, you may lodge a complaint with the Spanish Data Protection Agency (aepd.es).

7. Security

We collect, process and store your data applying information-security policies and rules, in electronic form and on paper, that guarantee confidentiality, integrity and availability. If a personal-data security breach occurred, we would notify the Spanish Data Protection Agency without undue delay and, where possible, within a maximum of 72 hours from becoming aware of it (art. 33 GDPR). Where the breach entailed a high risk to your rights and freedoms, we would also notify you without undue delay (art. 34 GDPR).

8. Cookies

The use of cookies is regulated in the Cookie policy, where you can set or withdraw your consent at any time.
