Many privately owned wells and springs yield plenty of water that is not safe to drink: turbidity after rain, iron and manganese, hardness, microbes. We design the treatment train the lab analysis calls for, with the L1 system as the starting point for houses, farms and light industry.

Having water is not the same as having drinking water
These are the cases we see most. If you recognise yours, the lab analysis will do the rest.
The water clouds after rain
Solids and organic matter washed in from the ground. Besides looking bad, turbidity cuts the effectiveness of any disinfection that follows.
Staining, metallic taste and deposits
Dissolved iron and manganese that precipitate on contact with air. They stain sanitary ware and laundry and foul pipes and pressure vessels.
Failed microbiological results
Intakes with no disinfection barrier, or with too little of it. This is the point a correct design solves fastest.
Scale: limescale and extra energy use
High hardness that shortens the life of heaters, boilers and exchangers and drives up maintenance year after year.
Uncontrolled chlorine in the tank
Manual dosing: some days it smells of chlorine, other days there is no residual. Without measurement there is no guarantee and no log.
Odds and ends of kit with no overall design
Units bought separately that do not fit together: mismatched flow rates, headloss, and filters that never really work.
A staged treatment train, sized to your water
There is no single filter that solves everything. Each stage prepares the next: that is why order and sizing matter as much as the hardware.
Pre-filtration and solids capture
First physical barrier for sand, silt and turbidity. It protects pumps, valves and later stages, and stops disinfection working against particles.
Filtration matched to the analysis
Beds and media chosen for what actually shows up in your water: iron and manganese, organic matter, taste and odour, hardness correction when needed.
Ultraviolet (UV) disinfection
A physical barrier on already-clarified water, with no taste and no chlorination by-products. The lamp is sized to flow rate and water transmittance.
Residual chlorine and pH when there is a tank or a network
If the water is stored or distributed, we add dosing and measurement to keep a stable residual. We also use electrolysis as an alternative to handling reagents.
Commissioning, training and consumables
Start-up with the unit in service, maintenance explained to whoever will run it, and a consumables kit delivered with the first installation.
Be careful with the figures. The performance of each stage depends on the starting analysis, the real flow rate and the maintenance. That is why we do not publish generic removal percentages: targets are written into the study, on your own water, against drinking-water quality rules.
